Telling untold and uplifting stories that are all but ignored in mainstream media is critical. Through video, online narrative text and feature articles, this EBONY and EBONY.com exclusive series focused on unearthing racial history in these metros, while explaining what projects, businesses and initiatives are succeeding. During its run, it covered New Orleans, Chicago, Detroit,  Atlanta, and Los Angeles, netting acclaim and brand extension interest from local radio stations, international podcasts and networks.
